How to create a brand new drawing

  • Enter the drawing program on an existing drawing

  • Click the Plus icon at the top left

  • Save and start drawing

Copy a drawing

  • When you are in a drawing you want to copy, click on the "copy" button

  • Click OK in the next dialog box

  • Choose if this is a freestanding page or organizational variant (read more about this here Organizational variants)

  • Fill in metadata for the drawing (see below)

  • Save > copying will start and the system will open with the new drawing

How to fill in metadata for a drawing?

When you create a new page or edit the page's metadata by clicking on one of the icons for this, you can enter a range of data that applies to the page itself. These are:

  • Page name: Enter what the drawing should be called in the desired language. If no language is found, the first one will be displayed

  • Description: For internal use

  • The background image: Link to an image (anywhere) that will be placed behind the graphic elements when you draw

  • Owner of the page: User

  • Contributors: Users - can also edit the page

  • Process: Tag a process if the page itself should have a resource image

Change metadata such as the name of a drawing

  • Enter drawing mode, click the pencil icon on the sheet

  • Make changes and save

Archive/delete a drawing

  • By archiving a drawing, it is saved but not available to end users - represented by the box icon

  • Image Added

    By deleting a drawing, it disappears - represented by the trash can icon
