The competence matrix function can be found in the left menu under "Competence". Please note that it only shows the competence of type "Skill". In addition, aggregated data from the selected department and all sub-departments are displayed. The matrix has three sections:

Summary of existing competence levels

This gives a good overview of the current level of competence in the specified department by showing who has which level of each competence.

The department's needs

In this section, the user can click on a column and enter the needs, for example how many people are needed at each level selected for this competence.

Gap

This shows the difference between the existing competence and the needs. Green boxes mean that the competence is covered, while red boxes mean that the competence is lacking. A positive number means that you have more competence than necessary, while a negative number shows a lack of competence. Use the result to update your competence plan for the department.

Share the Matrix

You can share a view by clicking CTRL+P and printing to PDF. You can share this PDF document with relevant colleagues, customers or others. Remember that it contains personal data.
