Name selection on drawings

When you create a new drawing from a process, this has a box from before with a name. The system will therefore automatically suggest using this name as the name of the drawing. In addition, it will suggest and add the name of the “mother drawing” before this name. For example if the "Mother drawing" is called "Start page" and you create a level 2 drawing called "Submit tenders", the system will suggest that the new page should be called "Start page - Submit tenders". If you build systematically, then all the pages will be sorted correctly alphabetically and it is easy to find and get the overview.

If you only have a few drawings, 10-20 pieces, you do not lose the overview by choosing other names, but if you have many drawings, it quickly becomes messy and unclear.

Therefore, if you create a completely new drawing without creating it from a box, think about what the "mother drawing" is called and build the name in the same way as the system automatically does. Then you get a good overview.

  • Page name: Enter what the drawing should be called in the desired language. If no language is found, the first one will be displayed

  • Description: For internal use

  • The background image: Link to an image (anywhere) that will be placed behind the graphic elements when you draw

  • Owner of the page: User

  • Contributors: Users - can also edit the page

  • Process: Tag a process if the page itself should have a resource image
