The template(s) used when creating new documents in DWS can be customized. Special rights are required to perform this, so only a System administrator can perform this operation. NB! Be careful - mistakes can easily be made here, so if you are unsure, contact support through the support system and we will help you.

  1. go to ….Manage/DocWorkspace/Templates

  2. Copy the template that is there (then you get "living" header text with quick parts)

  3. Give the template a desired name

  4. Enter desired headings / text, logo etc

  5. Set it as active

  6. The template that was there before can now be removed from "Active"

  7. Edit the Word template that is there and adapt it as you wish

  8. Do not delete "Quick parts" to be used - they may be moved to other places

  9. Save when you are satisfied

  10. Go to grid view and enter the desired Title, description and sort order

  11. You can create several templates by starting from the existing template
