With Reminders, you can create repetitive events where an e-mail is sent to the responsible person with the selected e-mail text and the selected frequency. You set a start and an end date and then notifications are generated which will go out at calculated times. If the person responsible is changed, the system will change who receives the notifications.

Reminders are brilliant to use for system events so that you are reminded of important events. If this is added to your own email calendar, it will not change if you change responsibility for the job. With Reminders you only change the person responsible and then the new person will receive all future notifications. Typical Reminders can be:

  • Remember to go on a safety inspection

  • Hold an onboarding seminar for new employees every quarter

  • Assess compliance with environmental requirements

  • Register sickness notices monthly

  • Maintenance routine for equipment

  • Revise all governing documents for my department

  • Record measurements for my production line

  • Revise the year's audit programme

  • +++

Tip: The text in the email can preferably contain a link to the place in the system where the person is to do the work, so you can find it quickly.

  • No labels
