Choice columns and changes in these
One of the column/field types in SharePoint is called Choice columns. It is a column (field) that has predefined one or more choices that the end users can choose from when they fill in a form with this field. It can appear as drop-down menus, radio buttons, or multiple-choice options.
Our systems often use these types of columns, and they are predefined as best we can according to your experience and our customers' needs. But sometimes our customers have to change the content of the choices. The change is usually ok, but some columns have functions related to our scripts and cannot be changed. This article describes the lists and columns that cannot be changed and which can be changed, and then how to change them. Changes to election columns must always be made in consultation with our technicians.
Language: Choice columns are always entered in English. We have a separate translation function that allows them to be displayed in other languages in the forms. In List views, choice columns will always be displayed only in the original language English.
A word of caution: if you remove or change the name of an already used selection, this value will still be stored in the relevant element(s), but the next time such an element is edited, a new selection will be required. In such cases, we recommend inserting both options, creating a flat list view in a grid view, and bulk editing this field. See the link below for how to do this.

Changes to choice columns must be made by a person with thorough knowledge of the topic. We recommend that you contact us via a ticket in the support system and ask us to carry this out. We may hold a meeting and provide training as we need to ensure that this is done correctly. There are several opportunities to make mistakes that can have major consequences, so here we take no chances!
