QM365 App release notes

Version 4.1 (3rd february 2025)

In our Android version of the app, we discovered that our system had a bit of an existential crisis about daylight savings time—sometimes jumping an hour ahead, sometimes lagging behind, and never quite sure what time it actually was. We've given it a firm talking-to, and now it should stay on schedule like a well-behaved clock.

Version 3.9 and 4.0 (30. and 31. january 2025)

In these two version, we’ve polished up our Signature functionality to make it smoother and more delightful to use. Think of it as giving your digital autograph a turbo boost—because every signature should feel as satisfying as signing a giant check (even if it's just your lunch order). And hey - lets be honest - we did also find some minor bugs that we fixed. Enjoy the enhanced performance and an upgraded user experience that’ll have you signing off with a smile!

Version 3.8 (27. january 2025)

In this version, we’re bringing you two exciting new features that make filling out forms less of a chore and more of a breeze:

  1. Graphic Signatures: Now, you can add one or more graphic signatures to a form. Because who doesn’t love a personal touch? Whether it's your elegant autograph or a doodle that vaguely resembles your initials, it’s up to you!

  2. QR Code Scanner for Text Fields: Typing is so last season! Now, you can fill text fields using a QR code scanner—just scan and let the magic happen. No more typos, no more frustration—just effortless data entry. But don.t forget: you have to make QR codes available, but you probably got that.

Version 3.7 (14. january 2025)

Ever clicked a link in our app and wished it would just open in your regular browser? Well, wish no more! This update lets you choose whether URLs open in our integrated browser or your phone's external browser. This means you can take advantage of all the features you're used to, like your saved bookmarks and extensions.

Version 3.6 (17. December 2024)

We've made some improvements to how "child forms" (those forms that pop up within other forms) work. They should be more responsive and reliable now. Plus, we've fixed a bug that was causing the "rules" (the automated actions that happen based on certain criteria) to act a little wonky. Everything should be running much smoother now

Version 3.5 (21. november 2024)

So, we had a bit of a head-scratcher with external users. Turns out, the app was trying to find their 'UserName' in a list, but for some reason, users were playing hide-and-seek with their UserNames. . To get around this, we decided to compare their UPN (think of it as their fancy online name) with their Account (another name, but slightly less fancy). This worked like a charm on Android! High fives all around!

But then… iOS 17 showed up and decided to throw a wrench in the works with a wonky encoding bug. So, we had to get even more creative and now we're comparing emails from Azure with emails in the User Information List. It's a bit like comparing apples and slightly different apples, but hey, it works!

Version 3.4 (11. november 2024)

Ah, yes, the classic "we fixed one thing and broke two others" scenario. It seems our well-intentioned changes in Version 3.3 caused some unexpected turbulence for the AdditionalCondition function and, even more critically, the login process (for some customers).

We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused. It's a good reminder that even the smallest changes can have… interesting… consequences.

Version 3.3 (8. november 2024)

We've fixed the login problem that was affecting external users, so they should now be able to access the system without any trouble. We've also made some improvements to how People Picker fields work, making them more reliable and user-friendly..

Version 3.2 (3. november 2024)

We gave our Android app a bit of a tune-up (updating the React Native plugin in version 3.1), but it seems we accidentally bumped the multi-profile feature, causing some issues. We've now smoothed things over, and multi-profile is working as expected.

Version 3.1 (23. october 2024)

We've given the QM365 app a bit of a spring cleaning, updating the React Native plugins. We've also added an empty field to the dropdown menu – sometimes you just need a blank canvas, you know? The Demo user has been politely asked to leave the login page (they were hogging all the bandwidth). Finally, we've fixed a bug that was causing child forms to multiply like rabbits. They're now under control

Version 3.0 (23. october 2024)

This release includes an update to the iOS SDK, now using SDK 17. This ensures compatibility with the latest iOS features and improvements.

Version 2.8 (15. march 2024)

We've implemented fixes for issues related to user identification and made enhancements to improve the application's handling of multiple languages.

Version 2.7 (23. february 2024)

A bug in the People Picker has been resolved, improving its stability and reliability

Version 2.6 (23. february 2024)

A bug affecting the security of child forms through encryption has been resolved.

Version 2.5 (12. january 2024)

We've opened the doors (or rather, the People Picker) to our external users! They can now use this handy tool within app forms to find and select the right people
