The menu structure has built-in rights management so that you have to meet rights requirements to be able to see and view content on the various menus.
Rights groups
The menu system provides access based on two types of rights groups:
The majority of rights are based on membership in various SharePoint rights groups. You must be registered in these groups and you can read more about them here:
Rights based on data you own or are a "member" of. This could be, for example, that the user is a member of a project, or is responsible for an element in the Organization List. These are marked with a * in the list below.
The rights groups that exist and which control access to various menus are as follows:
