Browser related problems

Recommended browsers

QM365 should use a modern browser such as Chrome and Edge, and Safari. Firefox has some weaknesses when reading code for PM and may behave incorrectly. Internet Explorer strongly discouraged as it has not been updated for several years and is simply out of date.

This guide focuses first on help for Chrome users. The same actions can be done in other browsers, but you will have to find the menu on your own from now on.

Language settings

QM365 is developed in English, but QM365 also has other languages available. Your MS 365 user may be set to a specific language. If so, QM365 will be displayed in that language unless there is no setting for that language, then it will be displayed in English. Your browser may also have a language setting. QM365 will be displayed in this language unless the MS 365 language setting is different. The MS365 user setting trumps the browser setting.

Change your browser's language settings

In Chrome, change the language setting like this (ask google how to change the language setting in other browsers):

  • Click on the three dots at the top right of Chrome and then "settings".

  • Click Advanced at the bottom.

  • Click on language under "Language".

  • Click Expand (down arrow) next to the language you want to use.

  • If the language is not listed, add it by clicking "Add Language."

  • Click the three dots next to the language you want to set for the browser and click "Show Google Chrome in this language."

  • Restart Chrome to apply the changes.

Deletes browser data

Your browser has a tendency to retain information and over time this can cause problems logging in or accessing websites. It is always a good idea to clear your cache or browsing history regularly. Here's how to do it in Chrome:

  • CTRL+SHIFT+DEL

  • Set the Time interval to "All time".

  • Until "Browser history" and "Cookies and other website data."

  • Check "cached images and files."

  • Click "Clear data."

  • If this does not solve your problem, try including "Browsing history" and "Cookies and other website data". All cookies, usernames/passwords etc. will be lost.

Disabling cache

To disable the cache, do the following in Chrome:

  • CTRL+SHFT+I (Windows) / Command + Option + I for Mac OS X

  • Select "Network" at the top of the developer menu

  • Check "Disable cache".

  • Close the Developer menu by clicking the "X" in the upper right corner

  • Ask google for other browsers.
