Approve and publish pages

Each drawing has a status, and the status follows this sequence:

  1. Draft / Under revision

  2. Waiting for approval

  3. Approved but not published

  4. Published

When a drawing is ready for approval, it is sent for approval. The system sends an e-mail to the owner of the page/drawing. Only this person can approve/reject the drawing. If rejected, the system will set the status to Draft. The reason for this is that the owner may have invited contributors to work on the drawing. Contributors can submit the drawing for approval.

After approval of the page, the owner can publish it when desired. It is also possible to reject the drawing, and the page will again have the status "Draft".

The videos below show how to perform each action.

After publishing a drawing, you can tag resources on the processes, which will again appear in the resource view for the process. Go to the Documenting processes chapter for more information. If you have published a drawing after making a change to the processes involved, ensure that the process list is updated accordingly. See the chapter Changing a process for more information
