Basic understanding / functions

Each drawing has metadata such as name, owner and contributors. Only owners and contributors can edit the drawing. This new drawing will not be visible to others until it is published and linked to a box at a higher level. To be able to edit a drawing, you must start a new revision.

Copy a drawing

Sometimes, it is easier to start a new drawing by copying an existing one. Please note that the copy retains all the box connections if you remove the selections when copying.

Archive or delete

A drawing that has been used and is no longer needed should be archived for historical reference. Only draft drawings can be deleted. If a drawing is accidentally deleted, it is possible to restore it. To recover a deleted drawing, create a support case and provide the name and owner of the process so that the QM365 support team can assist you in recovering it.
