Menu access adjustments

The menu structure is centrally located in the cloud and is changed as needed and during upgrades as explained in the previous article. If it is desired to make changes, read more about how below.

Other links

There is a separate menu called "Other links" - here you can add all the additional links you want without customizing the menu structure. This menu is be found at the bottom.

Additional buttons a specific menu

For each menu you enter that has button options, it is possible to add more options at the very bottom. For example, at the bottom of the menu for Process/Documentation

Override access to menu

Even if the system automatically sets restrictions to certain menus and buttons, these can be overridden and you can give everyone access to either the menu or certain buttons below the menu.

My page > Quick access

This menu can be activated so that it is possible to add any menu for all end users. If someone does not initially have access to that menu, it will not work, but the button will appear.

Menu customizations

It is possible to customize the menu structure with local code. If you want this, it is important to be aware that this must be manually adapted further during upgrades.

  • All menu options can be changed by moving the settings locally

What can be changed is as follows:

  • Who should have access to the various menus

  • Names of menus

  • Contents of menus - remove, change and add menus

More Better buttons

It is possible to add more buttons Better menu. These buttons may contain links with all kinds of parameters. The buttons may also be color-coded and have differnt icons. These changes are settings and will not be affected by upgrades.

We would like changes to the menu

If you wish to make changes - either setting or customisation, please make a clear specification of which changes are desired, put this in a ticket in our helpdesk (Jira) and we can look at the proposal - possibly have a chat about any improvement proposals we may have have and we must then make the changes in the system. We will then also ensure that this is taken into account if it is affected by upgrades in the future.
