How to draw the startpage

1. Complete the front page first with all boxes, names of boxes and arrows

2. Create processes on each and every box

• Right click on the box and select “Create a new process”

• Each process must have “Process Type” and not “Parent Process”: Process types usually are

  • Core - for core processes - i.e. they follow the cash flow that represents the purpose of the organization

  • Support - for support processes - processes that support core processes such as IT operations, Finance, HR etc

  • Leadership or Management - management processes - processes for which the management is responsible such as Budgeting, Quality processes, Policy, Strategies, Preparedness etc.

3. Create a subpage for each box that should have a drawing on the level below - i.e. a "subpage"

• Create a subpage by right-clicking on the box and select "Create new subpage"

• A new tab will open - add a box with your name at the bottom

• Publish the subpage

• Repeat this for each of the boxes that will have a bottom page

4. Publish the front page - you have now added a number of features to the boxes on the front page. None of these will work until you publish the front page.
